PROUD LION - Gert Bezuidenhout

The artist always wanted to do a special lion.

He was looking to do a once-off, something different, wild life gem stone painting.

He took the head of the lion and added the mane hair to get the effect he was looking for.

He had to come up with a different technique to get new results, especially with the fine hair of the mane and whiskers.

The background was done in such a way as to accentuate the lion.
