LETTING GO - René Scribante

The artist has this beautiful old stone wall around the stoop of her house and she loves the yellow of the sunflower against the roughness of the stone. This painting has to do with the deeper meaning of the sunflower and how it evolves. For the sunflower to live on, it starts to let go, losing it petals; decay sets in but seeds form for the next flower to bloom and prosper.
